about 'snorkel'

Why 'Snorkel'. Basically the original donor VW Beetle was blue and had a wobble head 'Kenny' from south park in the rear window. And as everyone know's he wears a Snorkel type coat, so the name stuck. Built from my old LHD 1969 Beetle it was always a dream of mine to own a Beach Buggy. So I set about on a 5 year quest to build the car. Only having basic mechanical skills to start off with, I quickly learnt how to do all the tasks involved. Driving a Beach Buggy is about the most fun you can have on 4 wheels. It is also a real head turner. Everyone stops to look or ask what it is, especially driving it around the High Peak area.
As a photographer, I have had many requests to take photographs of Children and Adults in the car. If this is something you are interested in, or hiring me to drive you to an event such as a Wedding, then please get in touch.
